In the year 2021, Pushpa Movie: The Ascent emerged as a masterpiece of Telugu action drama produced by visionary Sukumar. The film was brilliantly played by Allu Arjun in the titular role, Fahadh Faisal’s Telugu debut, and featured Rashmika Mandana in a prominent role. Story
Set in the 1990s, hard-working labourer Pushpa Raj, along with her partner Keswa, embarks on a daring campaign to smuggle red sandalwood. As time unfolds, Pushpa gets inside the secret network of the powerful smuggler Konda Reddy while deftly avoiding the constant pursuit of Deputy Superintendent of Police Govindappa. However, within Konda’s own relatives, a cauldron of animosity boils over, as Konda’s brother, Jali, harbours a deep resentment towards Pushpa, whom he feels is more favoured by his illustrious siblings.
Sereno, the mysterious kingpin of the operation, has entrusted Konda with the heavy responsibility of protecting his forbidden treasure from the eyes of the relentless police department. Pushpa, full of determination, is assigned an important role in this dangerous endeavour. Jali then, driven by a mischievous motive, conspires to undermine Pushpa’s position with the nefarious hope of bringing her to justice. Yet Pushpa and Kesava, blessed with their wits and quick thinking, deftly navigate this treacherous maze, avoiding the long arm of the law.
